TREEHOUSE SUMMER CAMP
Treehouse Summer Camp has an enrollment of twelve. One mile from UVA, it was established in 1996 to introduce children 7-13 to the aesthetic foundations of language. In a two-acre enchanting wooded garden that provides material and inspiration for their activities, children learn bookbinding, calligraphy, papermaking-out-of-the-garden, drawing, painting and poetry writing. When not working inside the barn, children explore their natural creativity with freedom to play outside on hammocks, under pergolas, on a perch in the trees, along hidden pathways, while being guided to engage their senses in the natural world. SUMMER CAMPS ON THE RIVER
Christchurch School offers fun, engaging, and enriching programs that cultivate the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our campers.
With four fun filled weeks, campers will discover what is in and around the water that surrounds the campus. Perched atop a hill, in historic Middlesex County, overlooking the majestic waters of the Rappahannock River, Christchurch School has been helping youth begin their journey for the past 90 years.During the day, your camper will enjoy their chosen discipline of sailing, marine exploration, or fishing with other campers who have chosen the same activity. In the evening, campers will enjoy traditional camp activities like camp fires, field games, talent show, or end of the week dance.
