KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR ALBEMARLE COUNTY SCHOOLS
Albemarle County Public Schools.
Parents of rising county kindergartners are invited to attend registration for 2010 kindergarten classes at the school their child will attend. To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by September 30, 2010. Families should bring an original birth certificate or passport if child is of an international background, a Social Security Card (preferred but not required), and three proofs of county residency displaying the same physical address: a deed, mortgage contract, or rental agreement (required); a personal bill or payroll stub dated within the past 30 days; and a county receipt for paid personal property taxes. The International & ESOL Office at 296-6517 is available to assist parents who are non-native English speakers.
